Honoring the life of my son by giving back to other children living with Epilepsy

JT was a bright light in this world. He was full of love and joy while fighting the battle that ultimately took his life. JT was diagnosed with Epilepsy two months before his third birthday and his seizures worsened with each passing year. He passed away September 17, 2015 at 10 years old from SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy Patients.) He went to sleep and never woke up. JT loved baseball, babies, Madden and Buzz Lightyear. He was sweeter to his mama than anything imaginable. I have many notes from him thanking me for taking care of him during and after his seizures. We spent countless days and nights in hospitals, there were never-ending appointments, meds, specialists. Life was a fight and we had each other. Losing JT is a wound ever present in my heart and soul. Passing along joy, light and love in his honor gives me purpose and peace, knowing he will not be forgotten. Love you forever, Sweet JT.
